When your child is struggling with reading, you want to do whatever it takes to help, but you may be at a loss as to how. JUMP Reading uses science based curriculum to teach your reader in a way that they learn best.

How we work with families

The struggling reader in your family is smart and capable. It’s not them that needs to change, it’s how they’re being taught and supported. Here’s how we’re going to help you do that.

 

1. Consultation

This is a video consultation with our founder, Lydia.

She’ll listen to your concerns and introduce a refreshing new way to think about dyslexia and reading challenges.

 
 
 

2. Enrollment

In the student’s first session, we’ll identify their needs so we can create an individualized step by step plan to develop their reading skills.

We’ll implement the plan at their individual pace to be sure they are progressing well and building confidence.

 

3. Progress reports

You get a detailed monthly progress report covering what your student has learned and what they will be learning next, the speed of their progress and teacher feedback.

We also provide tailored resources to use at home.

 
 
 

4. Ongoing advocacy

Our support doesn’t end with the learning.

We’re committed to helping you along all aspects of your journey.

This includes formal IEP meetings, with your classroom teacher, and helping you make sense of classroom feedback, testing results, and any other concerns you might have.
